Roger Daigle has been affiliated with New England’s hospitality industry for 45 years. His industry engagement began when he was appointed as the Executive Director of the Maine Innkeeper’s Association, what is now known as Hospitality Maine. He has maintained an affiliation with the organization as an allied member, having sponsored events since the ’80s and serving on various committees, including the Chairman of the Public Relations Committee, which initiated the scholarship program for the organization. He currently serves on the board of directors for Hospitality Maine. He has held positions in various capacities for several organizations, including the Maine-Canadian Affairs Legislative Advisory Council, Junior Achievement of Southern Maine’s Board of Directors, Public Relations Council of Maine, Uptown Portland, an organization formed to revitalize the arts district in the ’80s, and Portland’s Serenity House Board.
Upon graduating from Husson College, Daigle worked in their Admissions Department, where he was later promoted to Director of Admissions after successfully doubling the incoming Freshman enrollment. He transitioned from Husson to launch a full-service marketing and public relations firm, Daigle Associates, which served hotel and restaurant clients throughout the state. The firm published the Maine Dining Guide, a newsstand magazine for Maine restaurants and attractions, and published a lodging guide for the Massachusetts Hotel Association. His firm’s creative contributions continue to mark the hospitality landscape as the firm created enduring logos for prominent properties like the Dunegrass Golf Club, Juniper Hill Inn, and the Sparhawk Oceanfront Resort. Furthermore, Daigle has maintained a connection with Husson University by serving as the Chairman of the Southern Maine Alumni Board for three years and represented Husson in a real estate acquisition in 2012.

He also lead a hotel repositioning project near Orlando, overseeing the management of the Caribou Motor Inn while developing a strategic marketing plan for its owner, further showcasing his versatility and expertise in the lodging and hospitality industry.
